Using reporting tools, you can create flexible analyses for each business location.
Reporting per location is supported within the Logistics Information System (LIS) and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
Location Reporting in the LIS
A standard information structure 'S410' is provided.
For an installation-defined information structure the location can be picked from the partner communication structure MCPARTNER.
Location Reporting in CO-PA
The location ID - together with Ship-To partner and partner role function - is provided as an optional characteristic. Therefore it has to be included explicitely in an operating concern structure but no derivation rules or structures need to be defined for these fields.
Optional characteristics are provided within the field catalog.
The derivation procedures can be switched off if they are not relevant in your installation. This avoids any performance impacts caused by the derivation procedures.

Requirements
Location Reporting in the LIS
- Specify the statistics group for the sold-to parties and materials whose data you want the system to update in the Logistics Information System.
- For all ship-to customers which the system should take into account for a location, entries containing the business location identifier must be generated. You can use the business partner roles section of the location master transaction to do this.
Location Reporting in CO-PA
The derivation procedures for the characteristics location and partner role function must be left active.
