Description

Table TINC_TIT

This unit defines the Title Pass Location for each incoterm within the system, i.e., the location where ownership of the product changes. Possible values are:

  • ' ' - title passes at plant location
  • '1' - title passes at ship-to location

This information is used during gross/net pricing for two functions:

  1. It is used when accessing the gross/net unit relationships table. This defines the required net Unit of Measure for a given gross unit and title pass country. The country refered to will either be the that of the plant location or the ship-to location, depending on the incoterms used.
  2. It is used to determine the gross/net rule to be defaulted into the line item within sales documents. You can define these defaults in table OICGN by choosing SAP menu -> Logistics -> Sales and Distribution -> Master Data -> Conditions -> Gross/Net Rule.

If incoterm FOB represents title passing at the plant then the Title Pass Location field should be blank.

If incoterm EXW represents title passing at the ship-to location then the Title Pass Location field should be set to 1.
