A customer price list type is a two character field which is used to identify a specific customer price list. It is created, along with a short description, prior to the configuration of a new price list and is used to access the price list when it is run.
The customer price list allows net prices to be calculated for a pre- defined list of products. The price list contains the quantity usually ordered by a customer, along with the Unit of Measure. When executed by an operator, the price list will calculate the current net price of this fixed order.
The materials and quantities are defined as master data and cannot be changed at the time that the customer price list transaction is run.
Within each list, prices may be calculated with reference to one and only one contract. This contract may contain one or all of the materials in the price list.
You can maintain customer price lists by choosing SAP menu -> Logisitcs -> Sales and Distribution -> Master Data -> Conditions -> Customer Price List.
