Use
You can use this activity to define what lab data is displayed in the cumulative findings, and to set up the layout for output. You can make different specifications for each institution and requesting nursing OU.

You have defined the cumulative findings
Activities
The individual parameters refer to the status of the individual analysis or the status of the whole order.
The system transfers each laboratory value from the laboratory with a defined status:
- F = Released
- P = Provisional
- I = Value follows
- C = Correction of released value
The cumulative findings only displays released values in the standard system.
Enhancement of Output
- Display services without a value (SwoV column)
If you set this indicator, the system will additionally display values with status 'I' (value follows).
- Display analyses without release (PreV column)
If you set this indicator, the system will additionally display values with status 'P' (provisional).
Special Indication
You can give findings or individual values with certain characteristics special characters.
Enter a character of your choice for each one which is to indicate the values.
Individual Values
- Analyses without value (IwoV column)
- Analyses without release (IPre column)
- Corrected Values (ICor column)
- Analyses with associated comment
Enter a character of your choice which is to indicate unreleased orders. This character will be displayed in the header row next to the time.
Separator for Pathological Indicator (SIPa column)
If values are recognized as pathological in the laboratory, the system sets a corresponding indicator aligned to the right behind the laboratory value.
Enter a character of your choice which the system is to use as a separator between the value and the indicator for pathological e.g. a forward slash (/).
Print Service ID (PSID column)
If this indicator is set the system inserts the service ID before the value in each column when you print. This is only recommended if the service ID is not longer than 4-5 characters.
Service Catalog for Cumulative Findings (SC column)
Unique identification of service catalog within an institution for service in cumulative findings header. This entry is required if a service ID has been entered.
Service for Cumulative Findings (Service column)
This is where you enter the service which is to be displayed in the cumulative findings header. It should be a service which is used often, e.g. blood group.
If there are several values for this service, the system displays the latest value.
Indicator for Laboratory Document (LabD column)
If this indicator is set the system evaluates the control parameters of the cumulative findings when you print a laboratory document.
Select only One Cumulative Findings per Institution in this way, otherwise the selection is not unambiguous.
Example
You want the system to display the cumulative findings in the form of a calendar with fixed columns for each patient. You therefore make the following changes:
Evaluation start: A (day of admission)
Type of column display: T (one column per day)
Display analyses without values: X
Print formatting: 7 (7 columns in landscape format)
