In this IMG activity, you specify for the departmental OUs of your institution which keyword catalogs the system should use to code diagnoses for a given OU in diagnosis processing.
You can specify up to two keyword catalogs for each OU.
You specify in the TC (Target Catalog) field, which diagnosis code catalog is to be used to code the key word.
Example
A surgery department maintains and uses the key word catalogs body areas and tumors.
An internal medicine department maintains and uses the keyword catalogs internal organs and inflammations.
In both instances, the system uses the ICD-9 diagnosis coding catalog to code the diagnoses.
Requirements
At least one keyword catalog must be defined which you can assign to the departmental OU.

Standard settings
Recommendation
Different departments can use different keyword catalogs for diagnosis coding.
It is recommended to work with keyword catalogs only if the catalogs used are correctly maintained.
Keyword catalogs with a hierarchic structure facilitate the search for appropriate diagnoses.
Activities
For the departmental OU of your institution, specify a different keyword catalog in the Dimension 1 and Dimension 2 fields.
In the Catalog field, specify the target catalog to be used for coding the keywords.
Further notes
You are required to maintain this parameter only if you want to work with your own keyword catalogs in your institution.
