You can adapt the IS-H*MED RAD IC Worklist Management to the communication conditions by executing the following actions:

  • Filter for Worklist - Set Entries.
  • Query Device-Specific Worklist.

You use the RFC-enabled function module ISHMED_PACS_FETCH to request the IS-H*MED RAD IC Worklist. You can limit the worklist in the interface using import parameters I_AETITLE, I_DATUVON, I_DATUBIS, I_ZEITVON, and I_ZEITBIS.
In the standard version, the MSI Worklist server periodically queries the worklist. If you do not use the Standard Communication with the MITRA PACS Broker, then the worklist must be queried via the DICOM Application Entity (PACS Server or modality) by RFC.
  • Distribute Modality Worklist.
  • Send Selected Worklist Entries (Single Patient WL Management).

In this activity in the IMG, you enter and manage the necessary entries and definitions for the points listed above.

In order for services to appear in the worklist, you must define an AEtitle for the performing organizational unit (OU) and the building unit (Define Resources (AE Titles)). You must also define a filter for the generation of the exam and study documents.

Example

Filter for Worklist Entries

  • Worklist for initiated services, with appointment and waiting patient
  • Worklist for initiated services
  • Worklist for services with an appointment
  • Worklist for services of waiting patients
  • Worklist is an individual transfer (single patient)

Worklist Distribution

OU    BU    Filter    Meaning

CT    <SPACE>    F1    All services that were requested of the OU CT without specification of a building unit, are selected according to the F1 filter. These services are assigned to the AE Title when querying the worklist.

CT    R1    F2    All services that were requested for the OU CT and for the BU R1, are selected according to the filter F2. These services are assigned to the AE Title when querying the worklist.

CT    *    F3    All services that were requested for the OU CT, are selected according to the filter F3. These services are transferred to all AE Titles assigned to the OU when querying the worklist.

Recommendation

Activities

You enter the desired filter for each RIS resource (organizational unit, building unit).

Further notes

For each OU and building unit, you must maintain an event for generating the examination and study documents and for the creating the worklist.

The introduction of the clinical order in Release 4.72 results in a renaming of the filters. Instead of the filter BA (confirmed requested) services the filter initiated services is now used. From the point of view of the request, an initiated service corresponds to the service status BA. In the request, the system still creates the STUDY/EXAM document when the request is confirmed (status change to BA). With a clinical order, the system creates the STUDY/EXAM document when the status of an item of the order is changed to a specific status. You enter the definition in the order type on the Methods tab page.
