In the RIS Communication Client (RCC), the user can assign orders for sending image studies. The PACS that is linked receives these orders and then executes them. For sending images from a work station, you can specify the standard source and the standard destination for sending.
You can also specify the program ID for a service (ActiveCOM Server) for each link. You can use this service to direct a DICOM Viewer on a computer. The availability of this service is on a project-related basis.

The source and the destination of the image-sending function are the DICOM attributes AETITLE. The code to be entered must correspond with the AETITLE used in PACS.
