In this step, additional settings for the material assignment can be made for tanks assigned to storage locations at plant level. You can define whether multiple or single material assignments are allowed.
The single material assignment is the default setting. If you select it, the additional setting have no effect.
If multiple material assignment is selected, you can set the following parameters:
- Material group
- Old material number
- Loading group
- Excise duty tax group
- Excise duty tax status
- Oil content
- Material tax group (Brazil)
When multiple materials are assigned to one tank, the selected parameters are checked to make sure that they are equal for each material.
If multiple material assignment is selected, the following parameters are always checked:
- Base unit of measure
- UoM group (HIM materials)
- Conversion group (HIM materials)
For product type Chemicals the fixed density and the volume correction factor that are maintained in the material master record are also checked to be equal.
