Here you select whether the QCI uses the new table OIB_DEFAULTS or the old table OIB03 for default values. You can do one of the following:
1: ' ' : Use old default table (OIB03) and maintenance transaction
2: 'T' : Test new default transaction, access mode:OIB03/OIB_DEFAULTS
3: 'X' : Use new default table and new ENJOY maintenance transaction
If you activate the new default table for test purposes, the system checks the new table for a valid default set if it finds no valid entry in the old table.

Requirements
Standard settings
The SAP Oil&Gas template is delivered with setting 2, so that you can test both transactions.
Do not use this setting in production environments.
Recommendation
SAP recommends the use of the new table OIB_DEFAULTS for default values as of release 4.6B.

Further notes
You can use report ROIB_COPY_DEF to transfer default values from the old table OIB03 to the new table OIB_DEFAULTS.
The new transaction for maintaining default values can only be used if you select the new table OIB_DEFAULTS.
