With this report, you can check the results of the API c-code calculations. The result is a report that compares the system calculations with values in the printed standard API/ASTM tables. You can check the SAP standard conversion groups 234A,B,C,D , 534A,B,C,D , 56A,B,C,D , 596A,B,C,D.
This allows you to define a range of densities/gravities and temperatures for a conversion group, resulting in a table which displays volume correction factors and base densities.
- The x-axis of the table has the density/gravity with the increment you defined on your selection screen.
- The y-axis has the temperature range, again incremented according to your definition on the selection screen.
The contents of this table are either the computation of the density at the base temperature (15C, 20C or 60F) or the volume correction factor, taking into account the density at the specified temperature. Another parameter that corrects the densities/volume correction factor in the table is the hydrometer correction indicator.
You can compare the results in this table with the tables published by API/ASTM and determine whether the calculations are correct.
