In this activity you can create or maintain sets that you need when working with the Flexible General Ledger.

The following set types are available:

Two screens are available for maintaining sets:

  • Header
  • Basic entries

Activities

  1. Enter the set name, table GLT0, and the set type.

    When creating basic and single dimension sets, you must enter the field names (which dimensions) that the set is to use.

  2. If desired, enter a description, a set text, a symbolic name for the Report Writer, and a representative value.
  3. Enter values or value ranges for the set.
  4. If desired, enter short texts for the individual lines in the set.

Transport type

You transport sets into the productive system using a specially designed Customizing function. You can find further information on this subject in activity "Transport sets and variables".
