Description
Table T156S_OI
This table enables you to differentiate reversal movements from normal movement types. To ensure that relevant movement types are correctly processed, an indicator is provided in the material movements table to mark which movements are reversals. This is done at the detail level.
Example
An exchange is set up that involves 100,000 kg of product X to be lifted and 100,000 kg of product Y to be received.
Should 20,000 kg of a product be returned, it is important that this is dealt with as returned (i.e. a negative entry in the record of amount lifted) rather than as received back from the exchange partner (i.e. an entry in the record of goods receipts).
The reversal movement type is thus correctly recorded if the movement type that applies to the above example has the 'RevMvmtTypeInd.' box checked at the detail level of the material movements table.
