Description
Table TMCSB
This is the structure on which data analysis is based in the Logistics Information System (LIS).
Evaluation structures provide the data for flexible analyses in the LIS. They also allow an interface to be established to the Report Writer.
An evaluation structure consists of two types of information:
- Characteristics: this is the information on which the processes of data collection and data reduction are based.
- Key Figures: this is the information that is accumulated in relation to specific objects.
Standard settings
When creating an evaluation structure, it is necessary to first specify an application number. This is the code for the relevant business area for the structure. The remaining fields are for the structure name and a description.
The new structure is then referenced to either a Data Dictionary (DD) table or another evaluation structure. This allows the appropriate fields to be incorporated into the new structure.
Characteristics and key figures are then selected and the structure can be generated.
The structure created can now be used to display an evaluation by creating a report.
