In this IMG activity you define the access sequences.
The access sequence is a search strategy that the ERP System uses to find valid output condition records.
To define an access sequence, you need to make the following entries:
- Access sequence
Alphanumeric key with up to 4 places to uniquely identify an access sequence - Description
Text for describing an access sequence - Detail data (only the most important detailed data are included; you can find more information in the field help):
- Running number
Running number of the access within an access sequence - Table
Condition table containing the key fields for output condition records.
Example
Requirements
Your system is configured as an SAP Retail System.
Standard settings
Recommendation
- To create a new access sequence, copy a similar existing access sequence and make the necessary changes.
- When you define your own access sequences, the key should begin with Y or Z as SAP has kept these names free in the standard delivery.
Activities
- Check whether you can use the access sequences in the SAP standard system and how much you need to change them.
- Define your access sequences.
