In this IMG activity, you define the settings for the graphical representation of the sequence schedule amd the visualization of the order characteristics.
Activities
- Defining the Order Characteristics
In the section order characteristics, you define with which order characteristics you would like to graphically represent the status of a planned order. To do this, you enter a order characterisics group which controls the characteristics of the order and if necessary one or several fields of a table that supply the value. If, for example, you would like to visualize delivery problems, you choose the 'date difference' group and calculate this date difference from the material staging date minus the production finish date.
- Defining the Order Profile
In the section, order profile, you select whether the quick info text is to display the number of the planned order, sales order or the material number. The infotext is displayed when you position the cursor on the order bar. Furthermore, you can choose to display the orders of a line segment, that is, whether the sequence schedule for line segments with several takts displays a planned order at the time of the first takt (incoming orders) or at the time of the last takt (outgoing orders).
You use the visualization profile to define the layout of the
horizontal and vertical axes of the sequence schedule (field: number of rows) and the graphic display of the planned orders displayed (field: order profile).
- Assigning the Order Characteristics
In the section Assign characteristics, you can assign an order profile up to three order characteristics. You then enter the possible characteristic values (values of the order characteristics) for each characteristic and assign an element type (color) to this characteristic value. The sequence schedule then displays three graphic elements in the appropriate colors in the order bar of the planned orders. You can, for example, enter a color for the characteristic values date difference "=", "<" and ">".
- Defining the Visualization Profile
In the section visualization profile, you assign the previously defined order profile to a visualization profile, enter the column width of a day, and, via a factor, the column width for the medium term planning horizon.
Via the number of rows, you can also determine how many rows per day are displayed for a line segment.
Additional hints
The display profile is user specific. If you are calling up sequencing for the first time, the system creates a a sequencing user profile per user the first time the user accesses the the sequence schedule. In the user profile, the proposed value for the display profile is initially the STANDARD profile.
If you have created a visualization profile in this IMG activity, you then have to enter it in your user profile:
- Starting from the sequencing menu, choose Settings -> Visualization.
The Visualization Settings screen appears.
- Enter the appropriate visualization profile.
- If you only want to change the visualization profile for your current session of the sequence schedule, choose ENTER
- If you want to change the visualization profile for the current and future sessions of the sequence schedule, choose SAVE.
