If you want to split costs in the cost center to the activity types, you must assign a splitting structure to this cost center.

The SAP System splits costs per the rules that you set in the splitting structure.

Requirements

You have defined a Splittung Structure.

Activities

  1. Determine the type of assignment to be defined:
    1. Assignment of splitting structure for each cost center group
    2. Assignment of splitting structure for all cost centers
  2. Select the corresponding criteria in the initial screen.

    Along with cost center/group, you can determine whether to make the assignment valid for one version or for all versions. The assignment is made for one fiscal year.

  3. Choose additional cost centers from the list of non-assigned centers.
  4. Choose the splitting structure (cursor) to which you wish to assign the cost center(s).
  5. Choose Assign or Edit -> Assign to assign the cost centers the structure.
  6. Save your entries.
