Requirements

Before maintaining search help, see the SAP Library under Basis Components -> ABAP Development Workbench -> ABAP Dictionary -> Search Help for information on how search help is constructed in the SAP system and how to create one in the ABAP Dictionary.

Standard settings

SAP supplies the following standard search helps:

  • Search help ID "N" enables searching for a cost center using the cost center number.
  • The search help with the ID "S" enables searching for a cost center using the cost center name.

Activities

  1. Check whether the standard search helps satisfy your requirements.
  2. Supplement the existing search help objects with further search help objects or create new search helps if necessary.
