In this IMG activity you define default values for as many cost element attributes as desired, including, for example:

  • Valuation differences
  • No valuation differences
  • Affecting payment
  • Not affecting payment

Note

Cost element attributes are not used in the SAP standard delivery at this time.

However, you may use the cost element attributes for your own evaluations in the information system. To do this, you must define your own reports.

The SAP standard delivery includes a examples of cost element attributes.

Activities

  1. Check whether these examples meet your requirements.
  2. If necessary, create new cost element attributes.

To transport cost element attributes, a separate function is available in General Controlling Customizing.
