In this step, you store programs for user-specific reports to be run under Interactive Reporting. If you want to directly run a user-specific report while bypassing the program's initial screen, you must create a variant.
You can run user-specific reports either for a specific financial statement item or globally.
Requirements
If you want to use variants, first you must have defined variants according to your specific needs during the development of the program under the development environment.
Refer to chapter "Define Variants" in the "BC-ABAP/4: Writing Reports" manual.
Activities
Specify the programs and any variants that have been previously defined. Assign FS items if needed.
