In this step, you can maintain the texts for all FS items in your FS chart of accounts.
You can maintain both medium and long texts, and also short texts. Medium texts are up to 45 characters, short texts up to 15 characters in length.
Standard settings
For the FS chart of accounts preset in the standard SAP system, the item texts are available as short, medium and long texts.
In addition, text numbers are available for the SAP standard items. These text numbers follow the financial statement structures prescribed by German trade regulations.
Activities
- Ensure that medium and long texts, as well as short texts, are available for all items in your FS chart of accounts.
- Only modify text numbers for long texts.
