Data entry form groups are defined in this step. You can use DE form groups to control which forms are distributed to which companies for remote data entry.

Data entry forms are assigned to the DE form groups. In a subsequent step, the group containing the pertinent data entry forms is assigned to each company. The download accesses the DE form group assigned to the company and loads the assigned data entry forms as ASCII files.

Standard settings

A DE form group is preset in the SAP standard delivery.

Activities

  1. Determine for which companies you need which data entry forms and establish the groups.
  2. Enter the DE form groups in the system with an ID and a name.
  3. Assign the data entry forms to their respective groups.
