In this step, you indicate the depreciation area that is to be used for net worth tax valuation in each company code. The standard report for determining the net worth tax burden then accesses this depreciation area.
Standard settings
SAP provides a separate depreciation area for net worth tax that is dependent on the country-specific chart of depreciation.
Recommendation
If net worth tax valuation in your country is based on normal tax valuations, then you do not need a separate depreciation area for net worth tax. You can then use the tax valuation depreciation area for net worth tax.

Enter a depreciation area for net worth tax for each company code.
