In this step,
- You specify the reports that can be called up directly from the asset value display transaction (AW01), from the menu Environment -> Evaluation. In order to do this, you link the function codes of the transactions with the respective reports in a table.
- You specify the short texts the system displays for the value fields in the asset value display transaction. You can specify particular value field texts for particular depreciation areas.
Standard settings
SAP supplies standard short texts for the asset value display transaction.
The following standard reports for asset values are contained in the standard system.
R001: Asset history sheet
R002: Acquisitions
R003: Transfers
R004: Property list
R005: Insurance list
R006: Line items
R007: Assets not posted
R008: Depreciation comparison
R009: Retirements
R010: Insurance list
R011: Depreciation and interest
R012: Depreciation
R013: Manual depreciation
R014: Leasing liabilities
R015: List of origins
Recommendation
Usually, you do not have to make any changes to the standard settings unless
- you have defined your own depreciation area(s) with a special meaning
- you have developed your own report, and you want to link this report to the value display transaction
Activities
- Proceed as follows, if you have created your own reports for asset values and want to call them from the value display transaction:
Create your own entry, by
- writing over a standard entry
- copying an existing entry and giving it a new number
Both reports are then displayed in a pop-up window.
- Change the short texts for the asset value display transaction, if necessary.
