You define the individual history sheet groups in this section. You classify transaction types for the definition of history sheet groups by assigning them to a history sheet group.
Default settings
SAP delivers all the necessary history sheet groups for the standard version of the asset history sheet. In the standard system, this means the transaction type groups that are relevant for the asset history sheet (every transaction type group corresponds to a history sheet group). There area also three special history sheet groups: YA (values at the beginning of the fiscal year), YY (values during the fiscal year) and YZ (values at the end of the fiscal year).
Recommendation
You generally do not need to define your own asset history sheet groups. You should do this only if you want transaction types from the same transaction type group to flow into different positions of the history sheet. In this way, you can assign a newly defined transaction type to a special position in the asset history sheet, without having to define an individual transaction type group for it.
