In this step, you specify the depreciation areas for managing investment support. This specification means that this value type is allowed in the depreciation area (that is, the system does not issue an error message when an investment measure is planned).
If you want to manage investment support on the liabilities side, or if you want to manage more than one support measure for certain assets separately, you need "special" depreciation areas for managing the support measures only.
Standard settings
SAP supplies predefined depreciation areas in the reference chart of depreciation.
Activities
- Identify the depreciation areas
- in which you want to use the support to reduce the APC of the asset
- which are intended solely for managing investment support measures
- If you need a new depreciation area for managing investment support, copy an already existing depreciation area of this type.
