In this step, you define the withdrawal sequences to be used for backflushing.
You use the withdrawal sequence to control which stocks are to be withdrawn first when backflushing. You assign the withdrawal sequence to the material in the material master record. For example, for a goods issue, you can determine that stock is to be withdrawn first from consignment stock and then unrestricted-use stock.
You can define a withdrawal sequence for:
- pipeline material
- consignment stock
- unrestricted-use stock
If you only want to allow unrestricted-use stock, no entries are required. In this case, no allocation is required in the material master record.
