Here, you determine
- which entries are displayed in the kanban board
- in which order these entries appear
- according to which priority these entries are sorted
- whether the entries are grouped in the kanban board by color or by line
- the width of the column
You can make settings for both the demand source and the supply source views.
Example
You can set, for example, that the supply area, the material and the description of the material are displayed in the kanban board. In addition, you can set that sorting is first of all in ascending order alphanumerically according to supply area, then according to material, and finally according to the description. You can also define that various supply areas are defined by color or that the individual materials are divided by lines.
Activities
- In Customizing for KANBAN, choose Kanban Board -> Define representation of the control cycle in the kanban board.
- In the following dialog box enter the view for which you want to make the settings and choose Continue.
The screen Change field selection Kanban board is displayed.
- Choose Field selection, and select the corresponding fields, which are to be displayed in the kanban board.
Using the sequence of entries in the table Selection you can also define the order of the columns later in the kanban board. The first entry appears at the far left of the kanban board. You can change this order by selecting the entry to be moved in the table Selection, positioning the cursor on another entry and choosing Move. The selected entry is now moved to the position of the second entry.
- When you have finished this selection, choose Continue. Now define the sort priority. A '1' in the row for supply area and a '2' in the row for material means that the display is first of all sorted alphanumerically according to supply areas then according to materials.
- In addition, define whether the display is sorted ascending or descending.
- If applicable also group according to color. You can, for example, differentiate between the individual supply areas, by setting the appropriate indicator in the row for supply area.
- If applicable now carry out another grouping by line. In this way you can, for example, separate the individual materials from each other. To do so select the corresponding indicator in the row for materials.
