In this IMG activity, you define a pricing procedure and how it is determined.
In the standard system, you can use pricing procedure RVWIA1 with condition types WIA1, WIA2, and WIA3 to determine taxes for plants that are abroad. You must create condition records for the following tax types:
- WIA1: Input tax in the country of destination
The tax indicator for the tax determination procedure of the country of departure must correspond with the tax indicator of the country of the company code. This is because the system uses the country of the company code to access the tax indicator during the transfer to FI. You must maintain the 'reporting country' field (that is, the country of destination) for the tax indicator characteristics. - WIA2: Output tax in the country of departure (0 % for deliveries within the European Union)
- WIA3: Output tax in the country of destination
The tax indicator for the tax determination procedure of the country of departure must correspond with the tax indicator of the country of the company code. This is because the system uses the country of the company code to access the tax indicator during transfer to FI. You must maintain the 'reporting country' field (that is, the country of destination) for the tax' indicator characteristics. - Pricing procedure RVWIA1 has the following structure:
- 1. Pricing condition (PR00)
- 2. Input tax in the country of destination (based on pricing condition)
- 3. Output tax in the country of departure
(that is, 0 % for deliveries within the European Union) - 4. 100 % discount R100 (based on the pricing condition)
- 5. Output tax in the country of destination
(based on the 100 % discount)
Thus, the total value of the billing document is 0: The price is offset by the discount. Input and output tax in the country of destination have the same percentage rate. This means that the total of tax postings is also zero and the complete billing document has the value 0.
In order to determine pricing procedure RVWIA01, the standard system contains document pricing procedure B and customer determination procedure 1.
In addition, the standard system contains billing type WIA which you can assign to document pricing procedure B.
