In this menu option, you define the number interval for shipment documents. When creating a shipment document, a unique number is assigned. The number comes from the number range that you create as an internal number range in this menu option.
You can also create an external number range. However, the option of predefining a number from the external number range when creating a shipment document is not currently supported.
Transport
You transport number range objects as follows:
Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.
All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
Actions
- Check whether you can copy the number range of the standard SAP version for shipment documents.
- Maintain the number range "01" by specifying the limits of the number interval. The limits of the number interval may not overlap. Each number can occur only once.
