Use

In this IMG activity, you define the data required to determine verifications during purchase order processing.

For this activity, it is absolutely necessary that you enter the importing country.

Activities

As an example, we will maintain the following data:

  • Importing country DE 004 Germany
  • Import code number < Field empty >
  • Material <Field empty>
  • Dispatch Country US 400 USA
  • Verification type EL Import license exists
  • Import authority (in importing country) <Field empty>
  • Dispatch authoritiy (issuing authority) <Field empty>

The result is that verification type EL (Import license exists) becomes the default value for all imports from the USA. to Germany.

This is independent of the material and the import code numbers used.

Note

When you process the purchase order, you can still enter the verification type manually.
