In this menu option you define your individual variants for the program which controls output selection.
For each variant you have to enter the following:
- Variant
freely definable name that identifies the variant
- Output application
Indicator of the application (for example, sales or shipping) in which you want to initiate shipping automatically.
- Object key
Document number which identifies an object (for example, an order confirmation)
- Output
Message (for example, order confirmation or invoice) which you provide for the shipment
- Output type
Indicator which controls the type of output (for example, telefax or printout)
Note
You can enter intervals for these parameters to be able to issue or send more than one output for several documents with the same variant in various applications.
Standard setting
Only the output selection program RSNAST00 is defined in the standard SAP R/3 System. It is automatically proposed for the definition of variants.
In addition the following variants are defined in the standard SAP R/3 System:
- SD_SINGLE
- SD_PERIOD
Actions
- Enter the name of the variant that you wish to create.
- Edit the variant.
Maintain the parameters described above according to your requirements.
