In this IMG activity, you assign planning types, which you want to use for potential planning, to sales activity types.
In the standard system, planning type SDCAS_PA has been provided for potential planning. You can also use planning type SDCAS_PA as a template for your own planning types.
Requirements
If you do not want to work with planning type SDCAS_PA, you should create a planning type which meets your organization's specific requirements. A planning type is based on an info structure. If the info structure of planning type SDCAS_PA does not contain the information that you need for your purposes, you should first create your own info structure. You can create info structures in the IMG activity Maintain self-defined information structures. Note that you must mark info structures used for potential planning as relevant for flexible planning.
You can then create planning types in the IMG activity Maintain planning types.
Further notes
In the standard system, potential planning can be performed for sales activity types 0001 (sales call) and 0003 (sales letter).
