SAP recommendation

You control the field status using the account group. Only in special cases is it reasonable to define field status dependent on a transaction. This may be the case when, for example, fields are to be filled during creation and not changed using the change transaction.

Activities

If you want to give fields a status different from the default, specify the field status yourself for the appropriate transaction.
