In this IMG activity, you define time periods for delivery times.
You can enter the times defined here in contracts and quotations.
- The delivery time in a contract defines the time period the customer gives the vendor between a contract release order and the receipt of the delivery.
- In quotations, the delivery time is used to agree on a guaranteed maximum delivery time from when the order was placed.
When you create a sales order with reference to a contract or a quotation, the system copies the delivery time to the order item.
