In this step, you define the summarization and updating of the inspection lot data by specifying an update group for each inspection lot origin.
Standard settings
Suitable update groups have already been defined in the standard system for all possible inspection lot origins.
Actions
- Determine whether the assignments of update groups to the inspection lot origins predefined by SAP meet your requirements.
- If necessary, modify the table according to your requirements.
Additional Information
The update group is used to update the statistics for different types of business transactions.
The update rules for the key figures of an information structure are always defined in reference to an update group.
If an inspection lot origin is not assigned an update group, the data for these inspection lots is not updated in the information system. The relevant update group must be active in the LIS, for the system to update the data.
You can record a user-specific update log to monitor the update function.
