The standard network profile contains default values and parameters for controlling the processing of standard networks, such as control keys for activities.
The data which you enter here in the standard network profile are copied into the header, activities and activity elements of a standard network when you create it. You can overwrite these values in each new standard network.
Examples
- To be able to call up the network structure graphic, you must have entered a graphic profile in the standard network profile.
You enter the different values you need for the standard network profile in different Customizing areas. For example, in Customizing for the Project System, you enter the control keys, but in Customizing for cross-application functions you make the settings for graphics.
Notes
- These control or profile parameters determine the functionality of certain areas and cannot be changed without effecting existing objects.
- If you want to work with entry help, you must enter a sequence key for activities.

Standard settings
The standard system contains standard network profiles preset with the most important parameters.
Activities
- Specify the organizational and control criteria for your standard networks.
- Create your own standard network profile, if necessary, and maintain the parameters you need.
