The SAP System creates a numbered document for every posting in controlling. The changes of planned values and budget values are documented and can thus be uniquely identified.
In this menu option, you set up number ranges for the planning or budgeting change documents.
Note
The number ranges are defined as follows:
01 budget project
02 plan project
03 plan order
Requirements
Documents for changing planned values are only created if the project, the WBS element or the order for the project has a user status, to which the business transaction "Write plan line item" is allocated.
The details on this are described in the manual PS Project System under the keyword "Status management".
