A LIFO/FIFO method contains parameters for carrying out LIFO/FIFO valuation. This means that you no longer have to enter all of the individual parameters when you perform LIFO or FIFO valuation. By using a LIFO/FIFO method, you are ensuring that you always use the same parameters to perform valuation.

By specifying layer versions, you can carry out LIFO/FIFO valuation using different LIFO methods.

You can update the results of FIFO valuation in the database with reference to the FIFO method used as the basis. After to this, it is no longer possible to change the entry for the FIFO method affected in Customizing.
