In the master data for batches and vendor consignment goods, each field is assigned to a field group. Related fields are grouped together in field selection groups. If, when maintaining the field selection control, you specify that a field selection group is shown or hidden, all fields belonging to the same field selection group are treated in the same way.
In this IMG activity, you assign fields concerning batches and vendor consignment goods to a field selection group and thus specifically influence the screen layout.
