In this IMG activity, you can configure the specific input attributes of each field group in a special stock master record. The following keys are possible:

  • Field reference from the plant-specific screen layout
  • Special stock type (C for batch, K for consignment)
  • Transaction mode (Create, Change, Display)

Recommendation

Use the standard SAP configuration. No further actions are then required here.

Actions

  1. Check the standard configuration.
  2. If necessary, change the field input control.
    1. In special stock, find out the name of the field (for example, batch vendor) whose attributes you want to change.
    2. You do this by positioning the cursor on the field and pressing F1.
Choose Technical info and note down the name of the table and the field. In this example, MCHA (for the table name) and LIFNR (for the field name).
    3. In the IMG activity Assign fields to field groups, determine the relevant field group (in this instance, 003) for the field name (here, MCHA-LIFNR).
    4. Return to the IMG activity Maintain field selection for data screens.
    5. Position the cursor on the field group (in this instance, 003) for the relevant field reference (here, 000C for batch), and choose Details.
    6. Maintain the field input attributes on the detail screen and save your data.

Additional Information

If several attributes for a field group have been combined in field selection (for example, changing a batch in plant 0001), the attribute with the highest priority takes effect.
