A message schema comprises all the message types in an application. The following applications are integrated with Message Control in Invoice Verification:
- Invoice receipt
- Consignment settlement
- Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS)
- Revaluation
In the message schema you can enter a requirement for the individual message types that has to be met before the message is generated.
Example
In Logistics Invoice Verification, the message types MLPP and REKL are supported for invoice receipt. A mail is only sent to Purchasing or a letter of complaint to the vendor if requirements 180 or 181 are met.
Standard settings
The standard configuration contains the following message schemas:
- MR0001 Conventional Invoice Verification
Comprises the message type EINK (without requirement)
- MR0002 Logistics Invoice Verification
Comprises the message types MLPP (requirement 180) and REKL (requirement 181)
- MR0003 Consignment settlement
Comprises the message type KONS (for print or fax) and KONG (for messages via EDI) - without requirement
- MR0004 Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS)
Comprises the message type ERS (for print or fax) and ERSG (for messages via EDI) - without requirement
- MR0005 Revaluation
Comprises the messages types RAP (for printing or faxing) and RAP6 (for messages via EDI)
- MR0006 Invoicing plan
Comprises the message type INS
Recommendation
SAP recommends working with the standard configuration. If you do, no further action is required.
