In this step, you define the number ranges for the EDI transmission numbers.
The system assigns a number to each EDI transmission. This number is used for internal processing and is not relevant to the user.
For this reason, SAP recommends that you adopt the number ranges that are shipped as standard.
If you nonetheless decide to work with your own number range interval, you must use interval '01' to ensure that you system does actually use the interval defined by you.
