Use

In this IMG activity, you can define the reasons for which a purchase order item can be blocked.

When processing a purchase order, the user can block individual purchase order items. The list of blocking reasons that you create in this IMG activity is available to the user as an input help in the item details. If a blocked purchase order item is called in display mode, the system displays the relevant blocking reason ID and the text of the blocking reason.

Activities

  1. Enter the blocking reasons you require, by assigning an alphanumeric key of up to four characters to each blocking reason.
  2. Define for each blocking reason whether the user can change the blocking reason text for a blocking reason ID when processing a purchase order. To do this, use the Not Chgble indicator.
  3. Select a blocking reason and choose Descriptions. For each language in which you want the blocking reason described, create a text and assign the text to the appropriate language key.
