In this step, you assign a print indicator to movement types for printing goods receipt/issue slips.
Example
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard SAP System, movement types for which a goods receipt/ issue slip can be printed have been assigned print indicator 1.
Recommendation
Activities
Enter a print indicator for each movement type for which printing is to be carried out.
Further notes
For the automatic movements, a goods receipt/issue slip is only printed if the following data has been maintained:
- Version for the transaction under Print control -> General settings (example: version 1 for transactions CO11, CO15, MF40)
- Condition record for the output type under Output determination -> Maintain conditions (example: output type WF01: condition for transaction/event type WR, version 1, print indicator 1)
- Parameter NDR = X (capital letter!) in the user master record
- Printer determination
Attention
If both a receipt and an issue are posted for an automatic movement (for example, confirmation for an order including goods receipt of the manufactured product and consumption of components), make sure that the movement types have different print indicators. This will enable you to print separate goods receipt/issue slips for the goods receipt and the goods issue.
Example:
Assign the following print indicators to the movement types listed:
- Print indicator 1 for movement type 101 (receipt)
- Print indicator 9 for movement type 261 (issue)
Then create a condition record with print indicator 1 for the goods receipt document (for example, output type WF01) and a condition record with print indicator 9 for the goods issue document (for example, output type WA01).
