When defining a data structure, alongside the attributes which are defined for the structure in the ABAP/4 dictionary, some EC-EIS/EC-BP -specific information is required (e.g. the separation of the fields of a structure into characteristics and basic key figures or attributes for the info system). This information is stored in separate tables (so-called field catalogs).
When editing aspect data structures directly with ABAP/4 dictionary functions which escape the automatic control of the SAP-EIS data basis, or when the generation of the structure abends, some entries in one of the field catalogs may no longer correspond to current structures in the ABAP/4 dictionary.
Note
Using this function, you can reorganize the field catalog for a specific aspect or for all aspects. You are recommended to perform this function in test mode first and then to check the log.
This function is only required if errors have occurred in the field catalog.
