At this stage you create the number ranges for assigning business partner numbers. To do this enter the following under a two-digit key:
- a number interval, from which business partner numbers can be selected
- the type of number assignment (internal or external)
You assign number ranges to business partner groupings in the next step.
Standard settings
01 for Treasury partners
02 for Treasury partners
XD for business partners in loans management
XI for business partners in real estate
Activities
- Check which number ranges are required.
- Define these number ranges.
Further notes
You transport number range objects as follows:
Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.
All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
