In this IMG activity, you define for each institution certificate types that are subdivisions of the certificate categories.
Examples:
- Pre-approved insurance
- Referrals for second opinion
Note
The following applies to Germany only. In the case of PPA billing using a subsystem and the transfer of data via the BDT interface, you have to maintain the certificate subgroups for the relevant certificate types (field CS). Those certificate types whose certificate category is assigned to the internal certificate category 2, 3, 4 or 5 are relevant for the BDT interface.
Standard settings
The following entries are predefined for insurance verification:
- Certificate type 1 of certificate category 1 for insurance verification documents from the request procedure
- Certificate type 2 of certificate category 1 for insurance verification documents
- Certificate type 3 of certificate category 1 for insurance verification documents from data medium exchange according to §301.
Recommendation
Caution: On no account should you delete the predefined entries for insurance verification.
Activities
You define a certificate type by specifying:
- The institution in the Inst. field
- The certificate category in the Cgy field
- A user-defined certificate type (two-character, alphanumeric) in the Typ field
- The short text for the certificate type in the Short Text field
- The name of the certificate type in the Name field
- The certificate subgroup according to §301 in the CS field (Germany only).
You list the possible input values by calling the value help.
