In this IMG activity, you define certificate categories for each institution. The certificate category classifies the certificates (e.g. sickness certificate) required in your healthcare facility for processing cases and for invoicing. Seen technically, these certificates are managed as documents with a header and items (e.g. insurance verification documents).
Standard settings
The certificate type 1 is predefined for insurance verification.
Recommendation
Caution: On no account should you delete the predefined entries for insurance verification.
Activities
You define a certificate category by specifying:
- The institution in the Inst. field
- A user-defined external certificate category (two-characters, alphanumeric) in the Ctgry field
- The internal certificate category (e.g. 1 for insurance verification) in the Int.Ctgry field
- The short text for the certificate category in the Short Text field
- The name of the certificate category in the Name field.
