Use
In this IMG activity, you create an overview of all jobs and - if still possible - edit or change these jobs, or even remove them from the job schedule.
A job log is generated each time a program is executed in the background. Messages issued by the program are also recorded in this log. In the case of periodic jobs, a separate log is created (under the same (job) name) each time the job is started.
The overview will be clearer if you have followed the IS-H naming conventions. It is just as easy to select the required job/job log.
In case of problems, the information contained in these logs (in particular, the error messages issued by the program) provides important indications as to the source of the error.
SAP recommends that obsolete (HCM) batch job logs be automatically deleted.
Activities
- Add a job with the name 'ISHCM_CLEAR_PROTOCOLS_xxx' (program RSBTCDEL). For information about how to do this, refer to the section entitled Define Background Jobs.
- Select the relevant "ISHCM*" jobs that have finished since <date>.

You should adjust the planning data of the requirement in line with the data volume.
