In this IMG activity, you specify for each institution
how the services in the in-house service catalog are to be remapped to services of the catalog used for statistical reporting.
Use
The following example applies to Germany. You always enter services from the in-house service catalog. L2 service statistics of the Federal Regulation for Hospitals are established according to the Physicians' Fee Schedule (GOÄ). If you do not use the GOÄ for service entry in your healthcare facility, you have to remap the entered services for service statistics.
Services are also required for determining the standard billing days K5.2 of the Federal Regulation for Hospitals. Since these services are usually evaluated on the basis of the in-house service catalog, remapping is not required.
Requirements
- You need to have created the following service catalogs:
- The in-house service catalog
- The service catalog according to the Physicians' Fee Schedule (GOÄ) if this is not the in-house service catalog
For more information about this, refer to the following sections:
- Define Catalog Types
- Define Catalog Columns
- You must have defined a service catalog as the in-house service catalog (set parameter GTARIF in the IMG activity Maintain Institution-Specific, Time-Dependent Parameters).
- You must have entered services from the in-house service catalog.
- You must have created an assignment type if the statistics-relevant service catalog is not the in-house service catalog.
- You must have remapped services for the assignment type if the catalog used for statistical reporting is not the in-house service catalog.
Activities
- For each institution, specify for which evaluation service catalog which assignment type is relevant for service statistics.
- Always enter ST for statistics in the Us field.
- Make sure that you use an assignment type with the maintenance indicator "C" which denotes conversion.
